Default multilayer head gasket/long stud

i run a cometic 3 layer gasket just now with no issuesalthough i did first time round with them

doesanyone run/rate the 4 layer cometic?

also i long studded my 200 block with mountune 6
but just incase theres issues with them when i remove head

are arp ones ok to go for stick to mouuntune?

i just remember having 4 arp head bolts to go in place of the standard ones when building engine but was advised against them due to cracking block/head cant remember

any views appreciated

From what i have heard there are better long studs than the mountune ones, as they seem to stretch at different rates.

ARP make fasteners/studs/bolts for a living, they don't make rubbish, but it is rubbish to think that a stud is ever going to be strong enough to break a block, if the block were that weak just starting it up would blow it apart with compression.
Idiots who try to force studs, bolts into holes are the likely cause of block cracking, some don't even tap the holes to get congealed oil/crap out before rebuilds.

You use sh bolts in the corners,as they have already stretched, and shouldnt stretch any more, there fore stopping the head from lifting at corners,or so im tld any way
