This was a problem for the older ones as well, if it was in fourwheel drive! Reversing was fine if it was not in fourwheel drive.!
does that not make it shit then?my mates is an 06 plate,i have to reverse all the time with trailers in 4x4 mode in my trooper and it never burns the clutch out!!dont think i would like going to recover a rally car 20 miles into a forest with a trailer if the clutch could not handle it,sounds like nevara are cars to avoid.
Relax pedro! I was just saying its fine if you take it out of four wheel drive mode! As already discussed earlier in the post not everyone uses these types of vehicle for their intended use, those not needing to recover a rally car out of a forest may well be ok. Does not make it a shit vehicle it just makes it a vehicle not suitable for you.

I had a 57 plate Navara Aventura auto. It got burnt out when it was 7 weeks old but I still managed 4k miles in it.
The Euro 4 spec motor mine had did 20mpg while the earlier Euro 3 spec do low 30s even though the Euro 4 is supposed to be greener!!!
I fitted a Tunit box to up mine to 200ish bhp and the fuel consumption improved to 23mpg average...PLUS it fooking flew!
Stay away from Euro 4 spec engined Navaras if you are concerned about MPG
A 55/56 plate (Euro 3) AVENTURA Auto is the best model to buy IMO

brand new mate, outlaw model, im getting over 25mpg,

got 24mpg on motorway towing an escort cossie on a trailer,

i drive it quite spirited though as its fun and drives more like a car than a pickup, its quiet comfy and a proper cruising bus, im ahpy to sit at 90 on motorway in 6th quiet as a mouse and smooth

it was brand new, pre registered Ł15,800
