Default Vibrations

Would using 2mm wheel spacers be a likey cause of vibrations/ shaking through the steering wheel???

2wd...yes.

have you tried the front bearings, bushes etc....

not much there tbh.

They all appear fine, its strange as i only get the vibrations when im coasting along. When giving it some its not felt.

have you checked the tyres,no eggs in them,balancing ok etc...

Again all fine. The only difference from recent drives when it was fine and now is these spacers which are only a short term measure. But not sure why they would /could cause this fault......

are they bent.

take them off and then try it out to see if it goes away.

i'm surprised this is still in GD and not been moved yet.

like dave says, sounds like bent spacer. does it shake all the time, or just at a certain speed.?

Please bear in mind I have no clue what im talking about here

But aren't there "Hubcentric" spacers that are "balanced" and "Spacers" which are just cheapy will get you by jobbies?
