Sorry Stu... but I don't have a clue whether they are easy or hard to deal with TBH, I was only mentioning them in the first place because of a discussion I read on another forum about what can cause slow performances.
Ah, i see. Well, as i understand it, the main overhead they have is when they can access pages and spider those pages for informnation, which on PF they are not doing as they cannot access them.

Did any one notice my suggestion above (first on this page) ?
I believe it would give us at least a 10 to 15% speed improvment and is
relatively easy to implement
(I would even offer to write the utility required to do the job if that helps)

swap room ffs, i've fired many pm's to petrucci and have been fobbed off each time... I know your not in favour but I did a poll and it went in favour of one so can you listen to the majority user and give us a swap room?

seems sense in what the mods are doing though seperate rooms etc jus going to take some gettin used to.. my input for what its worth cant you have like a "emergency forum" for example someone posts in gd sayin "shit my rst wont start" now its going to get looked at quicker in gd than maybe the escort forum, at the moment this gets moved but if u caould have like i said an "emergency forum" that every post automatically gets deleted every 24 hrs might help please a few people. my 2p's worth

Anyhow the topic of swap room has been in contributors room for a lifetime and repeated pm's to the main man have been fruitless even after a user poll that showed interest.

I remember when we all first started on the gold memberships that was on the cards but never really acted on?
Nothing major prize winning i guess sort of first place gets a gold membership for a year and a tshirt and mug second gets a mug or what ever know what i mean?
Or do an all in raffle where we all stick a £1 in and winner gets 60% of the cash for christmas second gets 30% third gets 10%?
