will they they work over here with the english games and the english ps2 games,ive seen an 80gb ps3 on ebay for a buy it now price of about £300 including postage but its from hong kong,obviously i dont want to get it if i keep having to get jap games and other bits and pieces like the controllers aswell,so would it be worth getting or not

 

Mate has got a jap one, and it is sometimes hit and miss with what games it will play, theres two versions one plays anything. I used to have the consoles on import Dreamcast ect..but you are better off getting a UK one imo, get one bought matey with Fall of man

 

im not that fussed if it doesnt play ps2 games really as ive still got my ps2 anyway and im not going to sell it either,theres quite a few advertised on ebay as 80gb units but then in the description its says 60 gb so im a bit unsure now

 

My mates is jap, he struggles to play game he buys, he has to rent them from blockbusters to see if they work before he buys em
He carnt go online with it...he paid over £300 sheets and admits he should of got a uk one...you can buy a 40gb uk one for £349...

 

argos are doing a 60gb deal at the moment with 2 games for ?£350 or £360 so i might aswell just get that 1,its just that its a xmas present from my girlfriend so i dont want her spending the money and then it not working properly

 

Best way mate, my mate hates his...for extra cash, you get a UK one that plays ANY game (JAP US)..Can go online, warrenty ect ect...makes sense fella
