Default Do I NEED a JAP boost controller???????? I think I do

at the mo I have air injectors. my car is mapped for 27psi, about 1.8 bar. on position 11 on the boost control it wont run more than 1.6 bar, when I run pos 12 it runs about right till the turbo gets hot then (like last night ) runs almost 2 bar which aint good

I just cant risk .......................losing a race to someone and running pos 11

Would a jap boost controller allow me to set 1.8 bar as the peak so it NEVER goes above that and would it keep self adjusting, i.e when the turbo isnt mega hot it would run 1.8 but when it is hot the controller would still only allow 1.8 bar???

info greatly appreciated, expecially from Mike/karl...etc etc

No, you need a brain .

Why don't you try this for size - get the turbo REALLY hot and THEN see what boost it is running on position 11, as T4s give an extra 1-2psi once they get warm (as I keep telling you ).

One press of the throttle will not achieve this .

IF when the turbo is up to operating temperature and it still doesn't reach 1.8, why not take it to Havey, so that he can accurately set it up so that it DOES .

This he would do for FREE, if you explain to him what is happening when the turbo gets hot on position 12 .

Now THAT took a lot of thought didn't it ? No wonder your parents sacked you - you're fucking shit . I'd stick to the Rock Salt, it has the same IQ as you .
