exactly what I said and imo no matter how much mortgage etc you pay, surely as a car fanatic on over 1k a week they can afford more than a 3k rs turbo or even a 5k saff
mate do you know what it cost to live and run a home in london, i earn between £500 and 1000 pound per week and can still only afford a 5000k saff as you say, i think the super car is a long way off.

Yeah reading through some comments I guess it all depends where you live. If I was on 1k a week round my way (Mid Wales) I would live in a castle lol

From the ground up

No seriously Programme on it the other week. Build the top section first, lift it up and then build the next bit below it, then the next lower bit and keep building from the ground as it gets higher.......

i see what you are saying about flash car and terraced house but we looked about for a while and just couldnt find a new house we liked!

i think after building new houses for a living you get to see the cheap shit they use to build them, small rooms, garages you could hardly get a micra in etc,not for me sorry.

i will build my own house in the next ten years or so but the wife loves the area we are in and it has a good school so if she is happy so am i,,i will just have to get by in my terraced house with my m3cab(when i find one)

Graceland, funny you mention 28 days later!

Got in a bit of trouble over that!

The really tall cranes "climb" themselves, its like a big car jack splits the tower and you slide another in, its all done with balance.

one thing has been forgotten in all the sparkie work is sales

its hard work and u have to think on your feet but the rewards are great

i house share, pay £250 including bills and i get paid just over 1k a week topline

im 23 and been with the company 3 months, before that i was on minimum wage at the NHS and got paid 200 a week lol

so ive decided to stay paying 250 a month, pay off my loan before xmas and buying a skyline gtr cash

and good thing was, didnt need any qualifications or training at all for this, just be able to talk to sell and most people i work are in there early 20s

Spot on, i've always found that to be the case too.
Several people on this Forum who I know are 'well off' dont talk about their finance because frankly it aint anyone elses buisness. The above statements are without doubt true these type of people bull shit about their sex life, earnings & the Power of their car when actually they lack in all three areas.
