Fuck me, I wouldn't get out of bed for that Makes me so glad I fucked my apprenticeship off when I had the chance
and I wouldnt get out of bed for your wage graceland.. bit of a poor attitude really..

I remember when I started out working (after paper rounds etc) I joined a company as a trainee... took home 350 quid my first month.. At 16, I was loving it.. and lets just say it's all paid off well now

Everyone has to start somewhere..
I started on an apprenticeship taking home 40 quid a week so don't give me the "oh poor attitude" speech. I was grateful for it at the time aswell - I've worked fucking hard over the last 8 years to get where I am today and therefore I am entitled to my own opinion - Shorty is a good mate of mine and I know he is just starting out .
Ah well, i strated on £29.50 so there

Westy you dont come accross as being on a lot more than Gracey....especially as you were so tight over the RST
it was more to the point of the "I wouldnt get out of bed for..."

I spent enough on the escort with engine, paintjob, geraboxes etc.. But why would someone want to waste all there hard earnt cash on a shitty escort..? Comany shares, a decent pension, studying for my degree... house etc are far more important thanks..

I do alright ..
I meant when you were selling it IE not wanting to drop a penny

yeah you do, its 10% after 4.5k for about 2k, then 23% to something, then 40%

then poor nige gets the 60%

either way get half that and feel cheated that they would offer me 18K for a job the recruitment staff get 65k,,,,,,, for EMPLOYING staff for the company

id understand if it was recruitment where he makes cash from companys,, but general recruitment i would have though 35k pay tops

i know what the staff at my place get and its the cunts who do fuck all in the offices but blame others for why they aint made targets who get that,,,, and my company owns a few businesses aswell as the retail part he knows about

no

use this
http://www.lowtax.co.uk/common/calculators/payroll.html

excellent calculator thats spot on.

To earn 750 a week AFTER tax is £39k per yr AFTER which is £3250/month.

If you put £4700 into the GROSS on the calculator you get £3246 AFTER which gives £56400/ yr...NOT near 65k+

Ginge........Yes i do get that now as just had a huge pay review and a bonus scheme put in place. Which is explained below

They worked out having me work directly for the company doing the recruitment internally saved the company over £250 k in the 9 months of being here that they would have spent on outsourced agencies and consultancies. So they upped my salary accordingly to £40k basic now hence me moaning in another forum about being in the 40% tax bracket now

You also forget i get a TAX FREE mileage allowance of £450 Per month to cover diesel spending.

Then i have a headhunting bonus of £200 Per Person. This is done when a branch manager wants someone specifically from a competitor. Rather than paying a headhunting agency £2000 they give me a little bonus and i do it all from the head office i work in.
On average i would get one a week which is another £10k a year.

£40000 + Bonus £10k Plus Mileage allowance £450 pm = £55K Per Annum

Why do you talk so much about stuff that you don't really know about?

40% is top tax rate....

Not 60%

and all this endless waffling about bargains....

Mate, on the money you say you earn, a £220 jumper is not a bargain. Its a stupidly extravagent and brainless purschase...

ive never posted what i earn from this job i do now, i dont earn big money though its a moddest income but its enough for me to live on, pay bills and the missus to go to uni and us still go to the ring once a year aswell as another family holiday and not have any loans ect

i do ok due to avoiding having pointless bills like sky ect and when im shotrt i find a way to increase my income

wouldnt call 220 quid in a jumper something i couldnt afford unless i had to use a credit card for it or my little girl was walking round it wrecked trainers and dirty clothes due to no money for persil

Ginge !

Not being too critical here.

But in one post you say you are a tight fucker and look for a bargain all the time - understandable, we all do that

But then you say you bought a jumper for £220 because you thought it was a bargain

Where are your morals man - £220 can buy you fucking loads of jumpers at Matalan or TK-Maxx

that was actualy my point, impulse on them it seeme to be a bargain ( though i LOVE my tweety pie jumper,,, i really wanted ot bit it was too much but when that came up i had enough cash spare and so i bought it

i am a tight fucker with some things, but ask ANYONE whos been out with me when i have actually go out and neve bought a round in the pub ??

when i buy something is has to FEEL like its a deal, i wont buy something if i feels its not worth it

i was told about a cossie by someone on here that was 3500k,ment to be a good car,, i was about to buy that but in reality i dont really want a cossie but i do want a fun car

its hard to explain, clothes are different, i spend a few quid on clothes cause my clothes last me for years and you feel more confident going out in clothes that have some form of label attache to them, some times people take the piss out of me for it as my clothes aint brash labels but normal jumpers and t-shirts

anyone whos seen my iceberg jumper things its a disney top as its got tweety pie on it

I find it funny how everyone has these huge wages and is so quick to share them
I wouldn't disclose my salary on a public forum, but at 23 and owning a property outright in the UK (with my other half), and in the process of buying a sea-view villa on a golfcourse in Spain I wouldn't say I'm doing too bad. Except my salary isn't half of what a lot of people on here are claiming

So you can't afford Sky for you daughter and your family to enjoy....

But you can afford to ship in 'bargain' £220 Jumpers....

Hmmmmmm......
