After a recent thread on here, I got myself a magic eye thingumy and another remote so i can have sky in the bedroom. I've run the cables, plugged in the magic eye thing and tuned the tv in and can get sky, but I cant change the channel with the new remote or my original remote. I didnt get any instructions with the magic eye but it doesnt seem to be rocket science so i think I've managed it ok.

Anyone got any idea how to fix it?

 

Have you plugged it into the correct socket on the back of the sky box? Is there a red light on the magic eye where it plugs into the ariel socket on the TV?

ok thats the problem. fucked if i can remember where but rake for RF output or something. maybe rf2?

Yeh I googled it and found it myself. Working perfect now.

One fatal flaw with this magic eye thing though. I cant watch the footy and send the missus upstair to watch Corrie now
