so how many of you play texas hold em poker either on line or live tournaments. i play on line sometimes and also get to live tournaments. after competeting in about 4 of 5 live tournaments i eventually won my first one on sunday the prizes arent massive but for local tournaments the prospect of winning a grand is very nice. i was well chuffed to actually win the live event and pick up the dosh and hopefully continue to do well in these. the result for sunday:

Me and mates have proper fallen for poker in the last few months, cant stop playing it lately, really really want to get into it properly.

Play a bit on line now and have regular meets, its such a good game.

unbeleivable feeling winning something you really enjoying doing, plus the cash was nice aswell. the live tournaments are getting really popular and regular around my way and are a great way of entertainment at the weekend for really not a lot of money entry fee.the games normally last for about 7 hours.

i play in the pub league! its good fun! you dont win any money to begin with... but you get points and can move up into national and even international level, where you can win lots and play against celebriies.etc...
