Default Extra Injector Drivers.

How these work then? Like they put on RSTs etc.

How much are they?

On boost pressure? Throttle? Revs? Both?

Is it actually mappable amounts of fuel from the inj, or just on/off?

And if they can do it all, is there a shonky bodge way that is just on/off of adding extra fuel when on boost?
Say, i duno, off a boost pressure switch like with basic water injection?

MF2 is based on an open-architecture design, which means that the unit is freely re-programmable at any time, open to any one who possesses a small screwdriver: no computer interface is necessary! ... working alongside the original ECU, the MF2 controls its own set of injectors, four high-impedance injectors and two low-impedance injectors. It is able to use the signal from the existing sensors, or it can operate independently. 3D-mapping is simple if a load- or pressure- signal is fed into the unit

im sure its £200 jus for the driver, but its a bit of a crude way to gain extra fueling, i cant see the fueling being "spot on" all the time their used!
I think it works off coil volts but u can get optional Manifold absolute pressure(MAP) or optional Throttle position sensor!

Ok then, how about a REALLY bodge way of adding fuel when on boost, like, i dunno, injector activiated on a pressure switch like water injection does....

Ive seen this done once using a cold start injector, it was a bodge, but it gave the fuel to stop it running lean and blowing up...

Stu @ MSD sells the 'bodgeit' ones which supply a set ammount of fuel @ pre set Psi They are like £125 i used to have one to fuel my RST. (worked fine although there is no way of mapping it)
With the erl ones they are FULLY mapable but cost a fortune! i will be getting one of these in the near future for my cab.

Seen this on the web a few times, Bosch cold start injector whacked directly into the main fuel rail switched on by an adjustable pressure switch. Crude but in the case of the car you mention who cares?!

I wonder if this POS has the oil return above the oil level, never looked, never realised it was needed actually...
