Default eec iv inlet manifold how much will it genuinely flow

hi just wondered if anyone knows how much an escort cosworth eec iv inlet manifold will genuinely flow ? heard alot of different figures ! and is standard 2wd or 4x4 throttle body an issue ?
any advice much appreciated. thanks

it will flow enough air for 530-550.

defo more than 500 anyway

sorry read the whole post and to answer your question on the throttle body.

The 2wd/4x4 one will need to be changed for the EECIV one too but I think its the actually elbow bit of the plenum thats the biggest restriction.

No the TB's are not restrictive. The RS200 Evo runs the same size one as a 2wd Cos, and that has flowed 700bhp before.

rs500 with a spacer is what rod is running so how ever much he runs ( 740 + till the engne let go on the dyno i guess? ) but not sure if its modded in any other ways?

I feel the RS500 with a spacer is good for over 800hp and the eec unit good for close to 600hp, this doesnt mean to say either is the best you can buy only this is what is achieveable with them.

worth £150 maybe a bit more.
