Keep the 2WD one then Ian as far as I know, not sure at what power but I think the 4x4 one is certainly more restrictive than a 2WD one.

Sure someone will correct me if i'm wrong!

2wd ones are better for higher power

2wd = better for flow and more power

4x4 = for low lag, and a restriction on big power

No mate, if I had to quote a figure that someone told me the 4x4 one becomes restrictive then it was around 350+ I think

most of the restrictions come from the turbo itself, not ther manifold,

ive never seen a T4 car run 350 bhp, why would you suffer all the lag for no reason?

almost like An rs500 and standard they were hidious

the t4 on a 4x4 manifold is tight getting on and off.

much easier with the 2wd one.

the 2wd one may flow better, but isnt without its problems imo, the need to run a damper, the second joint that always leaks, gettting to the manifold bolts

as he already has a 2wd one on the car ,i would stick with it, but if i had the choice it would be a tough decision at the power level he is talking about

you would need a good reason to run a 2wd one over the 4wd, and imo 400bhp isnt that reason

yes you could, easily, with an on-centre housing rather than a tangential one

(Me and a BIG dremmel )

These 4x4 manifolds are supposed to have a 430ish BHP limit but I will find out how far I can push it !

because i have a a 4wd manifold sat in the garage & wondered if it would be better to use this for the intended power level to reduce lag
