They have made my life a living hell over the past week.

 

 

How the fuck am I supposed to smuggle my ebay shit through the work post system when the cunts are on strike.

If they actaully managed to do the job properly in the first place, then strike action may be justifyed, but since they cant, fuck em.... cunts!

 

Thirded here too. been wiating on an important letter coming for 4 days to prove my NCB for my insurance

 

As a Post Office employee said to me the other day, the strike is pointless.....they strike for a day or two, then when they go back in they clear the back log of post....so the mail is delivered (albeit slightly late) and they have not had to pay the employees for the time they have taken off.....GREAT STRATEGY !!

Hey! speak to the CWU they are the ones who are disrupting things, the dispute is not about the 2.5% pay offer its about Managements plans to modernise the business, this will mean a lot of lazy bastards who come into work and wanna do fuck all will be out on their fucking ear,

Royal Mail needs to modernise to be able to compete effectively and be a successful commercial business

The RM may actaully deliver some mail then, rather than just loose/damage it.

It is not the Post Office that is at fault it is this useless government.

They have done everthing possible to make the Post office unprofitable so that they can shut it down and save having to finance it. Just ask youself how good a postal system would be that was run by many private companies, it would end up just like the current bus and train service in this country.

And No, I have no connection with the Post Office.

Every parcel i've ever had delivered/collected by a courier has got there on time.... plus its always trackable.

 

All delivery/courier companies have issues with theft and damage mate, its the nature of the beast

I know that, but they're usually more accountable for the loss. Trying to get any form of compensation from RM is like pulling you toe nails out.

 

Been pissing me off big time

One positive step I think they should take is making is making post offices for posting things! Instead of being a random que stricken place to sell insurance, sell phone lines, sell DVDs, do banking or claim benefits etc etc etc....
Tons of courier companies manage it, why can't the Royal Mail?!

Too many foreigners in the sorting offices IMHO. They just help themselves to any letters that look like cheque books or credit cards. Every parcel i've received recently seems to have been opened as well.

Whats acceptable in certain other foreign nations shouldn't be the norm in good old blightly FFS.

What makes me laugh is, everybody moans about their mail being late, but yet if royal mail does get its way, then you won`t be getting your mail untill the afternoon, permantly.

So why would the postman write 10.30am if he was there at 8.30???

And the amount of people who have told me that i didn`t even knock or ring is stupid, I always knock twice loudly everytime but you still get muppets saying i didn`t knock, because they were in bed.

I have heard of someone not even calling and that is fair play and is uncalled for...

I have had to collect parcels that the postie says he can't deliver because no one was in, or there on one particular day, the day I was doing my drive, and a friend was sitting outside all the time making sure no one stepped on the wet cement, no postie came.
My mail is often opened, we don't get our mail until around 3pm, we have never in 23 years had two deliveries.
The other end of town ALWAYS has theirs by 7am, they don't even do a swap around which would be fair.
I am still waiting for parcels that were posted 3 weeks ago.
I sent a signed for item to Ireland just so it would be more secure, as I told the lady I needed tracking to destination, paid the money and then when I get home I find it does not track all the way as there is NO TRACKING IN IRELAND, only to the point it leaves the uk, but she did not mention this.
