On an 80mph run she would see about 31mpg as a rule.

all you lot whinging about poor economy with your cossies, i'd love to get what most of you consider poor economy

from a tank of 50 litres of V-Power the most ive managed while gentle driving is 190 miles and with spirited driving 125 miles, thats from a 365bhp Evo 5.

.....this whole thread and its answers has done my fookin' head in..... .....my car runs 420bhp....so i answered..... if its set up/mapped correctley, ...."depends on how u drive".....end off.....then u get the "well if it's mapped at %&*$Ł garage".........no it depends on ya foot....if u use the "horses",then expect the fuel to burn...gettn' it mapped is the way forward....closed loop is a good idea, but at the end off the day its ur driving style that determins the answer..............thank u and good night........
what about when in town not going crazy with the right foot? im sure depending on the mapping cars of similar spec will differ on mpg

Nope, as long as the cars are both setup teh same then its totally and utterly 100% to do with the map. The map can make one do around 11mpg at 70mph in 5th and one do over 33 at the same speed with eeh same driver.

.....are u on glue.....chip,map whatever!!!!! if its done right.........oh fuck it i cant be arsed.......this whole fookin' topic was about what mpg we get in our cars.......i've been to u 4 times (chip n set up) and as my power has increased in turn my mpg has gone down as a daily drive....i dont do much motoway miles so i dont see the benifits of 5th gear....now my car has been mapped by Ahmed and i have more power and even less mpg....maybe i'm just thick, but it just makes sense to me....the more horses u use the more fuel u burn.............
