Default IAW I cant replay the log I just made during a drive !!

Anyone who can help.. explain what I may be doing wrong.. please explain by LEGO´s

I click file in the logging "window" and I create a folder (think it is called), I also remember that I must log as "raw data" and I start both scope and logging. When taking a look in document I see my (lets call it a drivingsession) as a textfile... I tryed ALOT now.. and cant seem to have it replayed

I realy think I need this explained in.. "explanations for foreign dummies"

help.. please

It cannot be "Replayed" It can only be reviewed as textual information.

If you look at that text file, you will see each column is one of teh columns of data you logged, such as CPS, Boost, CTS etc etc

Pop your own headings on, or import it into a spreadsheet.

Each column of data represents one of your sensors as displayed on teh main scvreen, but it has no title to tel you what it is.

The first for example is normally RPM, so if you make a mental note, or even change teh top line to read RPM, the columns will soon make perfect sense as you work through them.

Maybe paste your log into teh screen so we can see it, or screenshot it maybe better?

better to open the textfile with excel or similar, rather than word

you can then easily make graphs to visually check the data

I see water temp slowly rise... tops at 96 but when most warn (slow driving in the city at 25celsius and no fan caused of a defect tempswitch)

I se airtemp rise and fall slowly.. engine hot and still driving, it is as low as 20 celsius on standard IC.. and I just bought a large Pro Alloy!!!!!!

Batteri .. super condition

Its funny... hehe

I do need an explanation on Ĺmĺl-valve .. in % ??? what does it tell me

Status 1 & 2 ??

you get air temp of 20 deg. c in an ambient of 25? that is a good intercooler

boost control valve % - the valve is controlled by a 10Hz PWM duty cycle. it's not just an on/off solenoid valve, it is a proportional valve.

you should wait for stu to confirm this, as i may have it the wrong way around: the higher the PWM %, the more the valve opens and bleeds boost pressure from the compressor housing away from the actuator. that gives you more boost compared to if you just had the compressor housing connected directly to the actuator (at the same actuator pre-load and spring rate)

Hope so or I will cry BIG time

Another thing.....

I just wrote RP a Q..

I am trying to keep cool, but my laptop (ICP laptop ONLY) have been confliction ALOT since I had it. I had an "expert" clean it up an install new XP pro, before installing ICP , allthough I told him to check the size of the computer an make sure that it could handle it.... but now another real expert says that XP pro is KILLING the laptop!!!!!

Do you think I can change windows (maybe to W98) without having any trouble installing ICP once again??

Do you understand what I mean?

Yes.. I know it is compatible.. but I am unsure that the securityprogram will stop me from change XPpro with ICP installed to Windows98 and then reinstall ICP... I am sure that this is possible as I dont see Windows as an important thing of my ID to ownership of ICP.

sorry, i understand what you mean now.

i'm not sure though. the security program generates a code based on the info in the compinfo.txt file that you send to RP Lab. i don't know if anything in there changes when you change your version of windows? for example, the username that you put in when you set up windows.

you could always try a dual boot system where you add win 98 to the existing XP OS and use the 98 for IAW Monitor and XP for other things (although you say the laptop is to be used only for IAW Monitor?)

Hello Jan,

Got your message - but since you've posted it here, I will answer in public.

No problem with Win98. Instal Win98, send me the security file and I will prepare licence information for you, so that you can continue using the product...

Hope that helps,
Nikola

That is correct.. IAW ONLY, to avoid internet dirt and other things like this that destroys computers!
