Nissan Skylines.....non-turbo....your opinions please
I'm looking at the Nissan Skylines R33 2.5GTS (non-turbo)
I reckon it's a good comparison to the BMW 325i?
Found one in Heathrow which is just down the road from me, but it got sold yesterday
What do you lot think of them? I don't want a turbo cos I want to keep the insurance down, and if I get a turbo I won't be able to leave the engine alone
DOn't know much about them tho, anyone got any power figures for them? and don't call me blonde but they are rear wheel drive right?
Any opinions welcome........

Thing is, if I were looking for a performance car, i.e a cossy, gtr and the like, I'd go for the turbo, but I really want a car that I can get into, turn the key, have a bit of power but obviously not that of a cossy of turbo'd skyline, I reckon a 2.5 skyline will have enough power to keep me happy, after all, next time I get a performance car it'll be another cossie, 3dr or escos. But thats not until I get meself sorted financially. I couldn't give two f*cks if people look at it as 'couldn't afford the GTR' although you have a point! I'm looking at it as a good looking car, newer than the saff I've been used to, with air con and above all reliability, I'm sooo fussy when it comes to the beemer that I just think I should bear the skyline in mind aswell. So does anyone have any power figures? know any sites I can have a llok at for ones for sale and general info?

I personally wouldn't have a n/a skyline, I know what you mean tho, but to me a n/a skyline is like comparing a sierra sapphire GLSI and a Sapphire cossie
it's the same car but without the turbo, but it just isn't at the end of the day.
I know it ain't the best comparrison but you get the idea.
However that said, it's you that has to drive it and if you want 1 then go for it.

Thanks for the input people, I see your point, it's annoyin me that findin a BMW 325i with m-tech kit for Ł3500 is like findin a needle in a haystack

n/a Skylines are fucking appalingly shite, and just for twats who like to pretend they got a fast car
(i think the same about GTSTs TBH but the owners then usualy belive they DO have a fast car then...)
GTR or nothing IMO unless it was unbelivably highly modded
