Mike,

Can't beleive you won't post your figures and graph. I'm sure they would actually make an interesting post on PF for a change.

At the end of the day if your happy and not embarrased by them what harm will a few comments from
sheady mask wearing straight line driving maddettes make ?

So stop being a silly cunt and get them up!!

Cheers,

Dan

I dont know the details of the materials used or the problem you refer to, just to clarify before every single engine with a vaguely nikosil related problem comes up, I was referring to good quality motorsport liners used in a high performance application, where 20K road miles or a few dozen hours competition is the life of it anyway, you should see no significant wear in that time, im not saying that they will last forever, merely they will last longer than the rest of the engine will in those cases.

So why do you have a resto thread about your car if you dont want anyone else to know about the car?

Seems like the only aspect of your car you dont want to mention is the one aspect you are so quick to critisise for others like DaveYum etc.

Chip,
Like I give a fuck what YOU think .

I said right from the start that after the bickering that went on when I posted up figures last time that I would NOT be posting my figures up. I think some of the comments posted up have proven to me, that that is wise .

It's people like you that spoil it for the rest , so just try and be happy that I am happy .

You are greatly misjudging me there IMHO.

If your results are good, and you posted them, then I would post saying that I thought they were good results, I only post what is my honest opinion and ive got NO hidden agenda with regards to your engine nor do I have any strong ties to any particular tuner who might have such an agenda.

Mike's happy with his figures which I'm sure he just views as a by-product of the spec' he wanted to achieve, and deservedly so. Mind you, he did engineer the 'outing' of my figures...........

Mike, dont be such a homo about it, post it up

You did have a resto thread aboiut it so I think you should complete it !

Yes I know a few will take the piss but most including me are genuinely
interested and as Chip said, he (am me too) will only make points that
are relevant and true and I am sure as ever, you will discuss or point
out any mistakes or facts we miss or interpret wrong.

As a moderator, you could just delete the crap on your own thread anyway

DO IT

P.S. Is it me or is it only the SCS affiliates who are behind mMike on this

Not really an SCS thing Simon, I never told anyone I was having an engine built, as it was for me - no one else came into it. Lots of people look at the peak figures and that's it, when there's so much more can be gained by reading a dyno sheet properly.

Mike, choose your weapon, ooer (did I tell you Harvey fitted 1000cc injectors and a T66? )

Billabong,

Agree with you about reading graphs but I, like a few do understand that .

My SCS comment was a feeble attempt at stirring mike up to post the graph

Hi Mike spoke to you last Thursday about getting my billy coilovers re-built found out that the UK Bilstein factory is in Leicester which is handy, new seals and re-valve Ł60 each which i thought was a bargin. There number is 01455283407 if you want it for future reference. As for your car i happen to know what power you got after a chat with Tim and i think its rather impressive, so did he which is even more impressive considering how many high spec engines he builds each month.

jsut because people bicker about your dyno print outs and your power figures dosen't mean you have to get involved in the bickering, as said if you are entirely happy with the figures you have, then share them with the board. well known cars like yours are always going to cause a stir anyways so might as well give people something to talk about.

It would be within your best interest to post them, as whenever someone else makes a post showing there Rolling Road results/graph you will be shot down when you make a point or comment about them for not posting your own. Not that they mean much to me as I only just understand them.

People wont even bother to wait till he posts mate, if he doesnt put his graph up then everytime anyone posts a rulling road graph there will be a joke about mike before he even arrives in the thread i suspect if he really hasnt got the bottle to post his up

Personally I reckon he might just be going for dramatic effect though as he knows most of us are genuinely interested in seeing the results of his relatively unique engine spec.

No, I just think it SO funny that certain people are so interested in my figures . I said right from the start I was having the engine built for my specific use, wasn't chasing numbers and that I would not be posting up the figures due to the way it all went to rat-shit last time that I posted up figures for Tony's T66 engine .
