It will only have the full 32psi if and when needed, as I really need the engine to last at least as long as my last one, as it has gone significantly over budget .

Mmm
Why would you want Fast Ford to print low boost figures??? And after all that hard work and some expensive parts.
Seems a bit fishy to me, but as long as your happy we are all happy

Because I wanted to wind you lot up . As I said, I don't care what people THINK it is, I KNOW what it is and I am HAPPY . But FYI, I put the EXACT figure down that it made at MAX rpm, which is 1000rpm past the peak - just so YOU would be none-the-wiser .
So that figure in the mag, should be at 8500rpm .

What the fuck is the point of a powerful engine if you're not going to point it down a runway, and push your foot ALL THE WAY to the floor?!
What's that you say? Corners? Reliability? On track performance?
Nope, never heard of them.

Just for the records my old shonky t38 conversion made more power and also given it clocked 30k of miles, not bad for a STANDARD block, pistons, crank saying that most in it was standard apart from head work and cam and Autronics
SO regards Corners and Reliability yes it had them all
Not only that it done a few top speed runs as well and never missed a beat
#301
A few top speed runs? Whoo hoo.
You have Kev Atkins in your cult. Surely you must realise how stressful track work is on a car, and that you pootling around to car shows is a little different that driving to Germany and putting in 10-15 laps round the Nurburgring?
And for the record, I thought that old T38 conversion was awesome - probably the perfect modern day spec for a fast reliable car.
