Default 5k miss-fire

Sorry this post being in the wrong section but people rarely go in the technical section what would cause a miss-fire from 5k onwards in all conditions car even miss-fires at 5k when you are standing still I have changed plugs, leads, fuel pressure regulator tried a different coil pack.. What else should I try apart? Below this rev range car drives prefect...

Thanks for any advice

Read faults codes after starting engine and making missfire happen.

If theres no fault codes could be.....

Crank sensor problem, had the exact same problem myself before.

(The S8 can detect crank and phase sensor problems and will set a rev limit)

That sounds like plugs, Seans problem is different.

Cock with zero actual technical knowledge, stick to buggering your dogs

Lets wait and see what the problem really is, electronics on any car rarely fails,
it usually sensors or wiring or fuel system/ignition parts.

This car has been running fine for a year or two now anyway.

Why spoil a reasonable thread when I am helping ?

FYI,

Seans one is a different version to the one you had and saying that,
reminds me, when you had it, you praised it and how easy it was to use.
Ok, the one you had was damaged/repaired but had a full warranty
when sold on to you for less than half price as it was an old development
unit but you were fully aware of all those facts.
While you had it it never let you down.

I think I will BTTT all your old posts to prove it.

PROOF

Stop stalking me

...oh my fire damaged ecu ...you sold it to me at trade price Then i found out it had caught light and you repaired it (with a fire extinquisher no doubt ) ...i stand by it was easy to use...but that didnt make a good ecu...hense why i got shot to chip who also got shot for whatever reason...heard another one just got shot too ...about 3 cars out there with your ecu ....although you have many who have paid you for one but not received

L8 is the ecu of choice as you advertise

Phil,

Trade price was Ł350, Mike R will vouch for that so what you said isnt true.
You paid far less than that - Ł150 IIRC EDIT- It was Ł200
That price reflects second hand reconditioned.

Yours was sold to you second hand reconditioned with fully warranty
at the time and you knew that so whats the problem ?
Yes, the circuit board was fire damage by its previous owner but that
fault was inflicted on it by wiring it up wrong. Beyond my control !.
It was repaired, tested fully and was working good as new
for the version it was. It performed as it should as you said on your
other threads. If at anytime within 2 years of purchase,
while you had it, it would have been sorted, but it didnt go wrong.

They arent made anymore as I dont have time to do it. No other reason.
Technology businesses like that need time and money and I have learned
I cant do everthing myself. Coudl you do it?
Do you design and make Bosch parts ?

(Where would your career be without daddy )

I may not have your business skills or money but I designed that product
all by myself, wrote the software and am quite proud of it.
I still offer support even though I dont trade anymore.
How many ex companies do that ?

You obviously have issues with me personally but please dont fuck it up
on here for others who need help and besides as I said above, we still
dont know what the problem is.
Its not like any other car with other make ecu's never go wrong now !

Anyone who paid for an ecu and didnt receive it, paid a company
(NOT SECS) that I was with but legally left.
That company is still trading today and I am no part of it.
If those 2 people dont want to follow that up, it isnt my problem.
That company also owes me a substantial amount of money too.

L8 ecus are good, never said otherwise but the S8 has many features
over and above the factory L8. E.G. mapping accesability, ALS
but not everyone wants to play at mapping like you did, they just want
to drive so an L8 is ideal for that.

Phil,

I am not stalking you. How many times must I say that. ?
Tell me, why the hell would I want too ? - Never even met you before !
You are the one following me around on this website and posting
comments at every oportunity.

I have not harrased you on the phone.
The numbers you have published in the past are not mine.

You offer no proof at any point and cant because its nothing to do with me.

My dad is very proud of me. If for nothing else in that he has two
wonderfull grandchildren and a caring daughter-in-law.
My wife exists and I dont see what that has to do with you or this
whole situation in the slightest.

MY internet provider is FORCE 9 and BT and ORANGE. Highly recomended.
(EDIT: Well Orange not recomended so much)

And "attension" is spelt "attention". Huggy Bear spelt it like you do ......

MacDonalds are still open if you need more straws to grasp from.

That I use a particular internet service provider like 50% of the rest of
Britain or that I have a wife who exists.

As I have said before and as this whole "stalker" saga is obviously
getting under your skin.......
Present your "evidence" to the police and find the real culprit if they
actually exist outside your head. I have NOTHING to hide.

God, it must be chips turn for the IMA abuse by now
