I love the Cav GSI's. We had one when I was younger in blue it was a really good car but got stolen and recovered many times and in the end it set on fire!

Excellent choice and one I would very much like also. I had the Ford at uni and my mate had the VW so I had the fortune of going in it many a time. A nice charcoal grey one would suit me as a work run around with the Evo for weekends

During this time i didnt go to RS gatherings i went to peterbourough truckfest. My long time car i owned at this time was a MK1 escort RS 2000, i had it for about 16 years under a tarp in the garage most of the time. I sold it to a freind just before i left. Since moving to austrailia i have got myself a mint 1992 escort RS cosworth (my dream car when i was in the UK but i never thought i woud ever be able get one ) i dont ever see me selling it, however i am still on the look out for a mk1 escort or MK1 cortina that i can fix up. ( OLD SCHOOL RULE)
Several MK1's floating around here in Vic and a bucket load of MK2's.

Astra GSi I really wanted one of these, but went for the RS2000 instead. I'd still have an Astra GSi, but you don't see many these days. Only Vauxhall I'd consider!

always liked the look of them but I bought a RST instead in 1995
never owned a Series 1 turbo aswell and should have.

*edit* something like this

Steve
had one of these about 10 years ago, was 4x4 though like the one in the pic, and westminster blue was a really nice car.
