What the fuck is good about that?
He doesnt actually mix any tunes atall, just chops afew beats in from the intro of the 2nd tune then drops it in on the breakdown.
Nothing special atall IMO
Thats how most people mix when they are learning still

Yeah I understand he does play the same 20. I do mention him a lot so please dont think I'm gay I just really look up to his style and what he's done for the scene. I got some good mixes on mp3 of him mixing "properly" to you trance people
Its just the energy that goes into that first mix!

i havent listened to it, but watched it.....
pony music BUT
come on.. DJ's on here.. how many times have you cut a tune in and it sounds the nuts.. then the adrenaline kicks in and you bounce around like a gibbon.. just like EZ (no racial link there btw )
I prefer smooth, transitional mixes as much as the next bloke... but sometimes cutting isnt a bad thing.. but im talking about double drops etc.. not sharp, loud, un EQ'd stabs....

EZ is a legend....end of! Some of the replies on here I'd like to see you go against him tbh if you think he is just chopping it in in the break - yes I am a garage DJ, and yes I look up to EZ as, there is no better UKG DJ imo, end of!

Adam - EZ a legend?
I've seen him enough times live to know that some of his mixing can be diabolical.
However, his track selection and ability to keep the energy level up at a club etc is what he's well known for. Nothing wrong with that if you know what you're getting, as some DJs who can properly mix often have no idea how to create an atmosphere.... leaving tracks in too long, looking for seamless mixes etc....
A lot of the time, ESPECIALLY with a garage crowd, most punters couldn't give a fuck about mixing quality. It was only ever about what tune dropped, and how you could dance round holding a glass full of champagne whilst disgusing the fact that you had chopped the cost of the bottle with 12 of your mates.

The mixing skills are diabolical on that link, however, "cut and paste" as its best known is a popular way of switching tracks in this scene.
At the end of the day the crowd are going wild and thats what matters.....
They are paying the entry fees and spending behind the bar, so if they are happy then the promoters are happy and the wages for the DJ will go up.
I am sure DJ EZ can mix but his way of DJing is very popular and his earning him far more money than any of us..
