Greek Mitsubishi EVO VI T.M Edition 921Ps @ 2,3bar
This is my forst post in here so i have to write some things about me...

I'm Gakis Stavrianos from Greece, i'm road test editor to POWER Techniques tuning magazine, www.powermag.gr.

Here in Greece we have lots of powerfull Evo's!

Yesterday we had a dyno session at Christos Basinas Mitsubishi EVO VI Tommi Makinen Edition.

I can't tell a lot about the engine's setup but i can say that it runs a Turbonetics turbo capable for 1200Ps @ 3bar an you can see about 10.000rpm at the rev meter...

Soon i can say more...

The engine is tuned by J.M.C , Maick Charalambous from Cyprous.

Yesterday with 2.3bar ct we saw at our own Dynomet 4X4 921Ps and 71kg.m of torque...

We are very happy having some cars such as that so i thought that it was good to sare it with you guys...

If it's 921 ps why does the graph say 921 hp??

Looks very impressive though to say the least!

Hmmmm, if that's a 'portable' dynomet dyno, then I'd take a big bag of salt with those figures (ime) - no offense intended.

I can't be arsed to work it out, but is it due to the different units that the lines don't cross at 5200rpm

Yes yes... one of our hyper powerful Greek EVOs...

Let me tell you a couple of more things... This power is at the crank... The car soon, after changing to a bigger wastegate will easily pass 1000ps...

The last couple of years we had some extremely powerful cars built and tuned in Greece...

Some examples...

EVO 8 GT42R turboed (730 at the wheels on a mustang dyno... it can go up to around 800 at the wheels)
EVO 7 with a similar setup...
the EVO you just saw on the video
another EVO VI T.M.E. with over 800 at the wheels (tranny problems...)

a Scooby that ran a 9.3@255km but now made it street legal again but has more power since it ran the 9.3

a 9.5 sec lancia integralle which still has tranny problems. its can go LOWER...

a couple of MONSTROUS Escort Cossies with H U G E turbos (T51R SPL, T88R) with sequential gearboxes etc etc... (both of them are electric blue....) These are 9 second cars easily...

Our famous white 3dr shap faced 4wd Sierrawith an AMAZING engine build with over 800 at the wheels, which demolishes all types of transmissions (its last victim was a full racing Quafie dogbox)... Currectly its been upgraded with a Skyline gearbox... i guess the owner got parts from one of you UK guys... You know who you are... Tell us if you want...

and more and more and more...

10 sec Uno Turbos, 11 second citroen AXs, 9 second N/A beemers.....

Hopefully until the end of the year a new drag strip will be ready, in order to handle all this horsepower...
