average price for a good respray?
looking at a car that needs a resprey, possibly in the engine bay too if budget permits
may need a front wing, needs tailgate changing too which is supplied and also other bits and pieces and dents around the car nothing major, possibly some minor welding sprayed in the same colour too
..how much do you rekon on average?

what car is it and what colour and if you can send me pics of it it would help iv done that many rs,s now that i know exactly where they go 
and unless the rear chasis is nackered they can be fixed

But i have seen his work and he does'nt cut corners 
Heres a pic of a golf my m8 did for a REGULAR customer of his will into his golfs so did it cheap but tbh he did say it was to cheap when he had finished it @ Ł1700
But then he has got other work out of it he's doing a golf thats going to be a show car with NEW EVER THING and a VR6 engine in a mk2 so its swings and round abouts
Shame i could get pics of it with a wind screen in and the grill
I trailered it back to anther workshop to have some wiring bit tidyed up ect on the engine ba y ect it has a G60 engine in it

this is a job i done for a mate it was new wings new rear arches door swap repaired r bumper done all the dents, doors off windows out and a full fepaint including inner wings down to chasis legs
i charged him 2k whitch i think was a good price

HOW FAR YOU FROM OXFORD Jacko Thats a VERY GOOD PRICES IMO Off the top of you head whot would you say to Price wise for doing inside and out of a saph cossie inc a 6 point cage In margenta My m8 sayes around 3k+ ATM i cant afford any of the paint work to be done but will be in the furture

He has a paintshop by him that do fantastic work for very sensible prices indeed.
Doug Stirling has just had his saph repainted there and it looks fantastic and it was FAR cheaper than you would expect for that quality of work (although i dont know if it was a bit of a hot deal as he was having some other stuff done too so i wont quote the price as an example)

I wouldnt pay anymore than Ł400 to be honest but i suppose bein a tradesman painter ide be doin it myself 
for a good job on the side 1K in a bodyshop 1.5K-2K at the most ide pay unless ure getting major bodymods,engine bay etc done then 2.5K-3K would be suffice in a bodyshop worth theyre money

im not after concourse, just something decentYou can get a covering of paint for far less, but dont expect people to think its other than a cheap respray. Like engine mods do it properly & then you only have to do it once..

this car was a bare metal job and it was all striped out windows out doors bannet and tail gate off and i charged 3k
