when we were in canada, we went to see a mustang like that to buy over there instead of rent....much cheaper,....and they dirt cheap there,...
just felt like a jelly on stilts....

bought a 4.9 1981 pontiac firebird instead....the best $600 dollars ever spent....

If you buy a V6 one you'll own it forever, they are just not easy to sell on.

save some money and buy a V8 one, i've got a '92 version and it can do 20mpg around town high 20's down the motorway, so it's no worse than a Cosworth to run.

You can get different rear lights for that shape (called SN95), you can get 5 speed ones (but 90% are autos, took me ages to fine a manual one) and V6's are not fast. Hell V8 ones arn't fast, but it doesn't take much to get them there!!

massive aftermarket for them in the states.

Cheers mate! So the V8 is the one to have then. What sort of power are they, and what sort of power do they need to be?

Mine std is 225hp ( ) but i've got a pair of alloy heads, headers, throttle body and a 9psi blower to go on which should make 400+ on the stock bottom end.

i've got a customer with a 94 5.0 auto cabrio he wants to sell if you are intrerested.

the only problem with so much power is the chassis and brakes need work to cope. The brakes are propper crap on mine, but i've got 6 pot Willwood kit for it
