No, because the processor is slow and is unable to keep pace with the
engine speed correctly.

I agree, very impressive power figures but would have expected to break into the 500 mark in the torque figures. But impressive nonetheless

The finished article . Soak in the detail....

And yes, it really has only got 500bhp whilst running in on lowest boost setting .

What kind of compression ratio does this engine have? Btw, good powerband. Might be interesting to drive this on wet surface.

Mike
Is this car going to run at events like the Daddy Thrash on soon, or is it just a Talker so that every one can discuss how fast it might be.
Get it to Brunters & run against the MAD offerings, or is that as I suspect not going to happen. Remember where the Bullshit stops Mike, thats what you used to say to me.

Rod,
This car will do all it's talking on track . Final drive restricts it's top speed to a max of 175mph @ 8500rpm . It's only running a direct drive top, due to the fact that there are no long roads / straights in Ireland .

However, it's not very often that you see Harvey getting out of a car shaking .

Even with the fact that it is 4x4, at 2.2bar of boost, it tries to snatch the steering wheel out of your hand like a 250bhp RS Turbo .

Point taken Mike, but perhaps Harvey should try 300+ more bhp & RWD now that is scary. .

Mike,

any reason the BHP figure is so high but the torque figures arent? 460 lb/ft seems low on an engine boosting at 2.3 bar through a T66 and making 600 + bhp

Not a dig before anyone starts and yes i am a MAD camp member, but i'm only asking out of pure interest, not to start a bitching session

Just a different way that the dyno's are set up - no biggie, just as long as you always use the same dyno for repeatability .

It is answering yours .

Same way that you get different readings on chassis dynos, if the settings are not identical in the computer, then you get different readings - simple as .

I think if you put Mark's engines on Harvey's dyno, they would produce less torque than on Simon's and vice-versa. Please note, this is in no way a diss, it's just that unless you run IDENTICAL programs, there WILL be some differences in the read-outs . As I said, nothing to worry about, as long as you always stick with the same dyno for repeatability .

Justin, MAD are'nt interested in going round corners they just want to go in a straight line.

As much as I'm no MAD supporter, I think Kevin Atkins would disagree with you there.

Mike What a crock of shit
So this is why my engine produce more TQ which means more power also is it is now run on Simons Dyno Is this your latest attempt to try to make sence of my engines ,
As far as one of my engines going to Harveys place HELL will freeze over before that happens But I will offer a Free payed by me dyno day time at Norris Desgines place for a Harvey engine so all you do is turn up pull the lever and record the fig and see what it does,
My offer will stand for the next 6 months so you can find a suitable engine.

Simple answer why dont each of the cars take each other on at top speed, 1/4 mile and timed laps? As the greatest person on earth said on this thread "The bullshit stops at brunters"

Maybe your mate shouldnt be stuck in the past just remember No T4's 7.2-1comp or Weber Management in or on my engines maybe a look in to the future is needed
