yes and no,

i need to test both cars for bedding in brakes and just gereral running,

beleive it or not i was even told off at donnington for making to much noice in the pits, when i unloaded the cars, because it was before 9 am lol

as you can imagine these cars have not been used in anger for over 10 plus years and i would like to get some heat into them and get them race ready,

not that i plan to race them, but its no good having somethink if it does not work 100%,

it would have been nice to say to someone like steve scott sunday at donnington here stsve jump in and take it round for a few laps, without having to say oh watch out for the brakes ect,

hi,

dont really want to do track days as such, more like testing,

cars are lound and would not pass normal noice tests,

egg about 120

lab about 115

thats why i though an airfield might to my best bet,

anyone got any ideas, or a bloody big private road they can let me use!

Bruntingthorpe is around Ł250 for the day for a single car .

Group bookings can bring the car price down to as little as Ł60 or so per car.

all circuits are controlled by noise conditions ,even brunters has one think its 98db, you would have to got to a general test day usually around Ł300 for the day

Knockhill has no noise limit. It's in the middle of a field.

Downside, the field is in the wettest, coldest bit of Scotland.

Hi

Brunters is Ł50 an hour per car. Best chance is after 4.30 when its usually available. They placed no restrictions.
Cheers Rod

of easytracks site .......

However, if in doubt get the car tested prior to booking an event, you are welcome to visit any event of ours for a test. If your car is too loud for a particular track, fear not, we can hire you extra silencing equipment (subject to availability).
