Default Got a Pectel Monitor?...

Where did you mount it pics please

Seen Mike R's

and Damo's (Damo is your screen blue?)

I was thinking of putting it either in the blank above the radio (bit boring)

Or getting a custom mount in the electric sunroof motor cover like Dave had with his Defi monitor (can't find a pic)

Any other suggestions?

Paul,
Don't forget that it you remove the main dash, you loose the power supply and regulator for the gauges in the banana pod, so these wouldn't light up any more...

Also, IMO there is no point in mounting it out of your line of site. You want to put it where a quick glance can view it.

although the peak recall function is still a useful feature if it is not in line of sight

you could wire the invertor up seperatly to work the banana opd lights, and fix it behind the dash.

I would be worried that even on the lowest setting on the dimmer, it would burn the three gauges out, as the inverter is designed to power these, plus the four gauges in the dash, so would need testing first.

yep ,but lower power invertors are available, a little homework and you should be able to work the power usage and buy one accordingly ,then mount it behind the banana pod.

your idea is best though..... throw them in the bin!

Personally I like mine ROFL... Sits perfectly in my line of sight, though I am going to move the SECS monitor from its current position
