Cossie Injectors fitting question (update prob solved)
I pulled the Greens out and fitted the X039's without paying too much attention to how they where before
But they just look wrong
My concern is that the tops of the injectors fit the rail fine but the bottoms don't go all the way into the inlet, almost as if the injectors are too short
Anyone help me on this?

Can't tell by the pics but as long as the o-rings are properly seated in the manifold you should be fine. I'll be installing a set of these sometime in the future... thanks for the heads up.
Looking a bit closer... are you using the correct slot on the injector for the clip? It should be the first slot under the o-ring.

Paul, from you first pic it looks like the new injectors are not fully pushed in to the inlet manifold holes.........
Might sound like a daft question, but you DID remove the protective (plastic) nozle covers before fitting did'nt you?

Harvey confirmed the spacers where missing and it sending me out a set tonight.. Top man
The injectors are Weber X039's a sort of alternative to Grey's with a different spray pattern apparently. The dyno maxed them out safely at 438bhp

Problem solved
A and C are the Weber X039's and B is a Bosch green
Despite being different shapes they are the same lengths.
The red line shows you where the rubber o-ring is postioned on A compared B.
As suspected the X039's needed a spacer but after fitting one the caps where two big
So dug out the old original injectors and nicked the caps of them and as you can see by the blue line they are now identical in spacing
They now fit perfect

you say the dyno maxed them out at 438..
surley you want a slighty bigger injector that isnt maxed out as a safety margin?
read somewhere that you shouldnt really push the duty cycle of your injectors past 90%
