The Capri is shit anyway, it belongs to a guy near me. They painted it Imperial Blue, the prep was shit, so the colour looks shit. They left the mirrors and handles out too.

Also, after coming back, it had to get pushed out of (rather than drive out of) its first public appearance..good old Fords eh

For the record, as I've done a bit with these boys on an up and coming show, their paint work is very good, 'The Garage' is a top class body shop based in Colchester and anyone who reads Max Power etc will know who I mean.

The big problem for the painters and body men is they only have just over three weeks to do the car from start to finish, they would rather have 6 to 8 weeks to paint a car properly and if you took your car to them thats the sort of time they would take over it.

Its not like the American show where people prepare before hand and due to different laws on product placement etc in the US to UK so people arent queing up to give them the very best in ICE etc etc etc

Hence the bodyshop is just called 'The Garage' and why I wont get mentioned in the show, even though I helped out big time.

The other thing to bear in mind, most of these cars are shitters and the Pimp boys dont touch the engine or suspension, so if it was shit before, it will be shit after.

What they do, do is sort the bodywork and interior.


As for Westwood, I'd always thought he was a cock until I met him and actually he's a real nice guy, the whole 'Holla Big Dog' and all that is just part of his 'stage/public persona'

After spending the day with him and the boys at PMR I actually think he's taking the piss half the time.

And say what you like about Westwood being an auld geezer etc, but he was one of the first DJ's to bring proper Hip Hop to the UK.... so people should respect him for that and not just diss the big dog for wearing clothes that are too big for him..

I don't watch that crap on tv [although I appreciate the effort that go's into it by those involved], sorry but I do know the car is painfully slow? Guessing it's a 1.6?
