Trapped Nerves......
I've trapped a nerve in my neck or inbetween 2 discs/vertebrates (sp ) according to my doctor.
Anyone done this before?
All i know is bloody hurts and i can't lift myself up if i'm lying down and i keep losing all feeling/pins and needles in my left arm and leg
The quack has referred me to the neuro surgeon up at Kings College Hospital in London for an MRI scan etc.... to see if they can locate what nerve it is.
I've been told that a massage could release it from where its trapped, i'm in soooo much pain that i'll give anything a go once.
So, i've phoned MrsFrog (Nat) who's a masseur (sp) and she's going to work her magic and (i hope) release to once forth it came
Watch this space..................
Oh and thanks Nat & Greg

Every now and again when I look upwards/tilt my head back, I pinch a nerve in my neck which causes a very strange sensation and I lose vision for s second! It's like it goes almost black, and you get light spots, like when you look at a bright light and thn close your eyes, but lots of em like a stary sky!!!
Been to see doctor about it years ago (been happening since I was a kid) and he basically said that unless it gets more and more common place then there's really no point doing anything, as to do anything would require surgery, which isn't advised unless it is a major problem (which it sounds like it is for you )...
And really, it has got less common place these days, and I only get it very rarely now.....

I've got a trapped nerve in my neck too, can only turn my head to a certain angle before the pain is killing me. I sneazed and it got alot better!!! LOL! try snorting some pepper?! (I think it was the anapping motion of my neck when I sneazed that helped - I dont normally advocate the snorting of food)
