anyone had one / got one?


misses is laid up on the floor and cant move, on top of this she has sciatica and is very bad way


anyone know what can be done to get rid of this trapped nerve?

how long it lasts?

does it un-trap itself

depends on how and where the nerve has got trapped

Had mine for just over a year and it's only just started getting better

Get her to the A+E and they'll refer her to a physio straight off

had one for about 4 months now and all the navy doc says is take these and come back in a week
so far ibobrufen 400 from boots seems to work well but its still there every morning
so all you can do is

take her to see a decent chiropractor, the one i go to is very good and actually knows what hes talking about.

had mine going on for 2yrs now.....had an op last yr to remove part of the disc to ease the trapping but its made it worse
did enjoy the 5 months of work tho tho looking at more surgery later in the yr to remove bone now.....all because the raf docs couldnt be arsed to chase up my case with the surgeon when things got bad

had mine now about a year to and first thing in the mornin its hell,, i do water mains work to so i have to dig all day and that bloody nerve dont help,,a few mates have had them and say they go over time,, but i know there are operations but im a big girl so i dont think ill be havin that done,,

Pain in the arse................litteraly. Mine goes up the back of my leg and to my butt. eases of if i keep busy but if i sit for too long its a right pain. as u say dr is useless and give u pain killers and a exercise sheet.

Yep, bitchin , caused me to end up in hospital due to it sending organs into spasm making me think i had kidney stones

Get a chiropractor or sports physio and keep going and doing the excersises.

Yes,go to chiro but in the meantime keep taking ibroprufen tablets.This reduces the inflamation around the nerve and also releives some of the pain.
