what's likely to be the cause of this?

1st gear seems to be the worst, if you are in traffic and you are going along then let off the jolt knocks it out of gear.
also seems to fall out in higher gears but not as much - always when you have to back off and the little jolt triggers it.

any ideas as to the problem?

could a damaged engine or gearbox mount make it do this

got a similar problem with mine but i think its just the quickshift hasnt been fitted right, proper pain in the RS

Not sure but my old runabout used to do it in 5th mainly on long motorway journeys, and doing 80 odd and not realising is fun, all of a suddern ur hitting the limiter Warn syncro maybe? not a clue really
