As posted, died by shooting himself with shotgun, conspiracy theories are rife, apparently there were no trace of finger prints on the weapon or the shells, not even Kurt's. There was a documentary on not so long back that highlighted Love as the main suspect, there was some altering of the suicide note if i remember correctly too..

And it was a waste, the guy inspired a movement that motivated and influenced many people, even after the death of grunge...

He was my anti-hero at one point!

 

The official line is an overdose of barbituates, and suicide by shotgun blast through mouth into brain....

But no, his wife had him killed. Let me ask you - if you OD on barbituates and are out of your face, dying in an OD induced coma - how can you stick a shotgun in your mouth and pull the trigger?

I personally think his death was a suicidal one. But Pantera/Damageplan Guitarist Dimebag Darrell had the most fucked up death, Getting shot in the face 7 times infront of thousands of people and his own brother Vinnie Paul while playing live.
