Had a pretty eventful morning...

was at AVA for a bitmore testing of the breather and a check up..

the car made 410 ATW with over 50 degree charge temps, its soooo hot today...

would love to see what it would make on a colder day..

the car also caught fire after the run i had disturbed the heat sheild while fitting the breather, needless to say i was panicing bigtime

Big thanks to colin and alan for staying calm and getting it out without it causing much damage.

A melted throttle cable wwas all that had to be sorted.

Anyway the verdict on the breather is................chuck your bailey ones in the bin

i have the same GGR seperator as you but i also have the GGR catch tank aswell.

only one i've ever seen like mine aswell

well it looks like i better get the new exhaust on pronto as i got passed tonight

the wee red devil sports fiesta cossie passed me down the slip road...

its a flyer!

i got him top end as he hit his limter in 5th and i went past him reading off the clock and 7300 in 5th...

works out at 182 on bernies gear speed calculator

its the way it comes out of the corners that it gets me...

it has a t38 so less lag.

its a 4x4 and had cut slicks on so he was carrying alot more speed than me out the bends...

also has a closer ratio box.

its a quick wee thing!

after my fire on saturday it thought i better sort a proper heat sheild...

Tom at AVA sorted me out with a brand new escos one for nowt

he even modified it to fit my car!

i fitted it tonight.



bolted it to the air box.


also while testing on the rollers we noticed that the airbox was being sucked in by the turbo... a bit of a bottle neck then

cut a bit out the front to try and free the restriction up

you were right when you said the heat shield doesnt look as good but if its safer then what the hell

Chop- the fiesta is some ex mag feature car from down south, proper piece of kit as far as i know, someone in falkirk has bought it.

my bro will sort you out with more info

Thats about right for 410atw. Mine had 399atw when it did 183.2. .

a guy from falkirk bought the car off ebay and his son now drives it about.

lucky bas is only 18

the car was built by devil sport and has a A1 rallysport 450 engine.

was timed by pf at brunters and did a 3.4 to 60 and 8 sec to 100 with a aborted top speed run of 160 ish...so you know its a quick fooker...
