Default Any Zetec Megasquirt Wiring Experts on here :-(

hi i have just bought a megasquirt v 2.2 to use on my 2.0 zetec.

i have looked at the wireing diagram and still cant figure out where each wire goes

p.s the wires are labled

pip-edis (red wire)

ground (black wire- but guess these connect to battery earth)

saw-edis (blue wire)

air-remp (green wire)

in5 # 344 (2 green wires)

fuel pump rly (black wire)

tps-sig (blue wire)

02 sensor (green wire)

nj # 1+2, (2 blue wires)

fidle relay (black wire)

coolant temp (red wire)

12v power (red wire)

tps 5v (green wire)

im still not 100% sure where they connect to ask i thought they would be color coded, im guess that picture is the block loom where the main ecu is? (under pasenger footwell)
do they just connect all on the loom where the ecu is?

anyone on here whos fitted on onto there zetec please help

PM a guy called ASAD on www.fiestaturbo.com

he's a bit of a legend with megasquirt and has a massive guide post on the forum there.

HTH.

seems very straight forward.

all of these will connect to the ECU, apart from

3-4 wires which are the ignition live and live feeds.

its wired very similar to the original setup

I think you are confusing your self by trying to patch it into the standard loom.

It is simpler and you are better off making a new engine loom. You pretty much already have it labled and hanging off the ecu.

If you were closer i would pop round and give you a hand.

The PIP and SAW come from the EDIS unit so you will need the pin out for that as well which can be found here:

I disagree.. it's a piece of piss to wire into the existing loom.. takes less than half an hour, if you do it properly! The big question is, what loom are you using? A zetec loom? If so, I have a wiring diagram for you.. I think I made a comparison chart once as it goes..
