good going mate,

packed in 5 yrs ago, used a drug called zyban from the doc,

2 month course, hated fags by the first friday,

scotland is smoke free, and you see all the wiffers outside shops and pubs/clubs in the pissin rain having a blow,

im so glad i stopped, put on 2 stone, but can breath better, and it was because food tastes great, with no tobacco taint,.

i personaly didnt want praise ,as it was MY stupid self who started to smoke in the first place,,

noticed the difference when i was in newcastle, and even worse in paris!

As a smoker of 20 a day for the last 23 yrs i really admire anyone who quits - However they do it

I keep thinking about the health side effects & feel i should quit but somehow cant imagine not smoking

Real tears from an addict

Stopped on my birthday...1st May, from smoking 20-30 a day for fifteen years to zero, used a nicorette inhilator.

Wish i had done it years ago, found it very easy!! which surprised me. Its all in the mind, if you really want to stop then you will.

I've tried nearly everything, can only go for a few days...going to the doc's on Wednesday to try this Zyban stuff!

Well done though mate... I did 3 months once, made the mistake of having a 'quick cigar'. Then another one next time I was pissed. Then I thought 'fuck it, cheaper to get a little box' then 'fuck it, cheaper buying packs'.. then 'fuck it, cheaper to buy cigarettes'

At a week you're past the worst of it, nice one
