i Like Magners but i usually drink Thatchers Perry, I love it, comes in a 1Litre bottle aswell. gets me well fooked lol

I was reluctent to drink the stuff, until Jill bought me a bottle to try. Tastes brilliant....................compared to that White Lightening, etc that you used to drink round the corner from the shop you just illegally bought it from! lol!

Friggin expensive (esp in Codona's - nearly £5 per bottle!!!!!!), but get it fae Costco - Jill bought a box for about £14. Great vaue for money.

I just need to drink the 5 boxes of beer I have left over first..........!!!!

bought 8 in asda today and its £9.98. also bought 4 cans of Scrumbow at 82p but guessing they will bring back the spewing memories

try strongbow sirrus m8.... fookin lovely.... used to drink red c but i cant find it anywhere now.. magner's is still on the menu as is my m8's home brew cider......

i saw it in asda but only in bottles that were either 750ml or 1litre i didnt look. it was almost the same price as big bottles of magners so didnt bother with it. i'll try it next time

I drink cider all the time, Strongbow on tap is pretty shite tbh

Strongbow Cirrus is spot on, don't mind Thatchers either

But the top bollox stuff is Stowford Press made by Westons Can't get enough of the stuff!

righto last night i had a sampling session. good ol magners v normal strongbow. magners of course was lovely but strongbow sucks in comparison! dry and pretty rank. the sirrus stuff might be ok but normal shit isnt. magners all the way if you're drinking cider

i cant stand beer or lager so ive always drunk cider.. strongbow is what ive always kept to as the others are frankly shit.. but i started drinking magners about a year ago in the pub up the road (proper irish pub, run by a dad and his daughter) and will only drink that if its available..

but it cracks me up seeing the city boys outside the pubs now drinking magners.. till that come out they wouldnt be seen dead drinking cider and would take the piss outta anyone who did, stupid cunts

That is true though, countryside is where it's at, we've got a proper old skool cider musuem down the road, still make it the proper way too!
