i haven't touched cider since i was about 15/16 and probably because of how sick i used to get drinking a 3litre bottle of the stuff

i tried a few tins of Magners a couple of nights ago and its great stuff
It makes a refreshing change to millers beer all the time.

Anyone else drink cider and is anything else similar to magners? ie strongbow any good etc?

i couldnt give 3 shits if anyone takes the piss so dig in

I am in Oz just now(well for past 8 months) and not seen a bottle here yet....

I didn't drink Cider for years for the same reason as you, Chop. Just the smell used to bring back the memories and make me feel queasy!

Now I'm pretty into Strongbow Sirrus. It's lovely stuff

"K" cider used to be the one we had as well. 14yrs old and a 4 pack of K and a 4 pack of becks and got RUINED

Don't really drink Magners but I like that Strongbow Sirrus. It's probably quite similar to Magners and like you said, its a refreshing change from Miller/Fosters etc. I was put off cider for ages because I get flashbacks of being absolutely smashed at 15 after an intense session of "cheapo Ł2 for 3 litres" cider, and my mate spewing out my bedroom door. Ah, the good ol days

It's just really refreshing, Chop. You'll see it in pubs etc. Look for a bottle of orange stuff. I think it's a bit sweeter than normal strongbow. I like it a lot. Not had Magners though.

We used to drink something called Frosty Jack's or something like that. That shit fooked me up!

Went to buy some magners from tesco last week for a try cos the advert makes it look so nice!

They had sold clean out so bought some strongbow sirrus instead.

Had a pint with ice cube the other night and i must say it was most refreshing and very easy to drink. Perfect for all those bar b's coming up.

Always liked cider as I couldnt stand beer as a teenager. I have a pub called the Penny Black I go to in Singapore that serves pints and saves going as far as the UK.

Even made my own in a vat in the airing cupboard a couple of times. First time it came out OK when I was about 15 but the second lot, could have stripped the paint off the walls.

Normal Strongbow isn't actually that bad but its no where near as smooth as the Magners

My gf loves magners fookin expensive though. Can three bottles in our local offy for a fiver though which aint to bad i spose.

There is a pub not to far from me near Farnham Common that does some proper sick cider. They do a beer festival a couple of times a year and sell ciders with name like "Sucider" and some other stuff which is proper cloudy and even some that is red. Needless to say they proper fuck you up
