I could fire them all on to itune where it is,but will that mean that the hard drive its on will fry??? Cause there really is NO memory AT ALL left on that hard drive, hence buying the new 1,and wanting to change them over..

Aright pete

What size is your i pod mate?

you could fire all your tunes on the pod and install the software on the new drive and then download them.

or

Whack the old drive into another pc, setup a network and transfer them that way, long way for a shortcut but it works

or

install both drives in the pc and just move them

Let me know how you get on

install windows on your new hard drive, once its all up and running, plug in your original hd dive but as a slave, move the little pin plugs about, then search your old drive copying everything you want to your new drive

something like that

Right, what you will need to do is move the itunes folder across to the new drive, then, reinstall itunes specifying that the music folder is on the 2nd drive
