do RST LSD's fit in a fiesta diesel gearbox with the diesel final drive?

Yes I beleive the LSD will fit but there's next to bugger all point.

Was there not something in an artical in Fast Ford Mag last month about this saying that it was all a myth

 

the only difference you will get is longer ratios

no difference in strength

 

i want a diesel gearbox for my diesel engine (not a petrol), but i want a LSD to counteract wheelspin

Ahhhh i see

I know that there were vans straight from the factory with LSD's fitted but i think they had to be special order.
I had an Escort one back when i was a plant fitter and they reconed it was for getting in and out of sites / fields ect

 

1.8 TD from an escort in a fiesta with fiesta diesel gearbox, its getting tuned to about 130hp (supposidly) but my brother had a standard one (90hp) and it torque steered everywhere.

so i thought id get a LSD.

does it deffo fit then?
