Default amal valve prob?

when the car is standing and revved to about 3000rpm the amal valve start to pulse on and off, is this right, drives ok but no boost gauge to show any loss or gain?its just the clicking on and off that is puzzling me
can,t say i,ve heard it before

depends how fast its clicking
the amal valve is supposed to click on and off but only when boosting
the last time i heard my valve clicking on tickover was when the pipe to the map sensor was leaking but im sure youd notice the performance!!

Had the same thing on mine mate, thought it was nackerd as I had not heard it befor so bought a new one put it on and the noise was still there, but found out that it's perfectly OK for them to click rapidly like this on some software setups,

mine did that and i was told by ahmed that on my chip it was normal

Wiggle the wiring connector at the top and see if it clicks when you wiggle it. I think you can do this with ignition on, engine not running.

Mine was clicking on and off like that, and needed replacing, yours could be doing the same from the vibration coming off the engine while it's running

it is a good connection and when pulled on off it makes the clicking noise
tring boost cauge tonight to see if there is any boost probs
