Not sure why Kevin Nolan hasn't been included, he has been so consistent for Bolton and better than Hargreaves and Jenas (who i also think is shite).

AJ is quick and he scored 21 goals in the prem last season and 17 in 34 for Palace this year
I'd take harewood/vassell/bent/ashton etc over a kid who's never played!

Vassell is crap, Ashton is crocked, you only get experience by playing and why not give him a go ?

Wright - Phillips can't get a game for Chelsea, so I think that was a good decision, but leaving him out of the squad totally.
Peter Crouch will prove to be a good choice, he honestly offers way more than people give him credit for. However, the choice to take Walcott over Defoe is ludicrous.
My conclusion: Sven has smoked some drugs prior to naming his squad.

only shock for me is Darren Bent,he deserved to go IMO.
Walcott won't start any games but the experience will be good,and maybe a few good sub appearances for him.
If any of you actually watch Crouch play,you'll know he has earned his place

Hargreaves - Pfffft, Sven must be nobbing his sister.
At least the defence and midfield apart from Hargreaves looks good,
