Default BMW 320cd Brake Pad Warning

Just done a disc & pad change on the front of my mates BMW 320cd but the dashboard light hasnt gone out - do I just simply need to disconnect the battery or has BMW themselves got to reset something???

Any ideas people???

just leave the ignition on position 2 for about 30 seconds.it will go out

take it for a spin over 30mph i think re-sets them worked on my mates 330D after a session on the rollers,

MB.

Had to do that on the backs of the wheels - bloody well jammed on they were the little buggers!!!
