205 GTi owners help needed!
Hello! I know some people have bought 205 GTis as track cars, like I have just done. I need someone to show me a pic of induction set-ups, as the one on mine is loud for sure, but I doubt it's helping performance. I want to see how people have positioned their air fitlers if they're using an open one, or how the standard stuff goes on so i can get hold of some and re-fit it. Cheers!!

Heeeeeyy. Thats not a bad way of doing it. My airflow meter is the other way round so the filter is right next to the manifold...
Obviously I have no turbo, but I could adapt the piping to suit my N/A motor. Is your a LHD? My Master cylinder and header tanks are in different places

As far as I know mate. The standard airbox is the best induction system for a normal 1.9 gti with just a free flowing panel filter.

Yup, it's a lhd, most cars are in Holland...
Just fit a turbo to it, use it on low boost (0,4bar) and you'll have lots of fun on the track.
Or just put the filter behind the left headlamp and take that out when you're going on the track.
Can't think of a better way to get cold air to it.
