My car used to make lovely chatter sounds but since fitting a different turbo to filter hose (relocating it lower in the engine bay) I now get hardly any chatter.

The pipe doesn't fit perfectly has it is kinked where my oil cooler line is pressing against it. Although it has no effect on the performance of the car would this couse the lack of chatter? Anyone else had a simular problem?

well, i've gained chatter on my rst with a piperx induction kit. its got a whining turbo but when u take my foot off, definate chatter, rather have it from a healthy turbs though

its prob the pipe run is it less straight now comparedto before??

its got a 45* angle almost directly off the turbo...... please dont say thats what causing it!

Thats going in the bin then!

Gotta move the oil cooler and get another hose made..... cant be doing without chatter
