Been looking on the MLR and GTR sites and came across two cars that i thought would be worth calling!
Wanted to know if anybody knew the cars and the owners?
Evo VI TME running 500bhp - username G11DOM.
R33 GTR - username purpleskyline
Also any opinions on Evo VI's and R33 GTR's

R33's are the heaviest skylines!
If you guna get one, go the R34
route or the lightest R32!!!
Makinen Evo's are very nice cars, but i'd be carefull with a 500 BHP one!
Get your self one of these!

Doms Evo should be the engine I mapped for Gaz's own car for TOTB a couple of years ago but you would need to check,
At that spec it is a proper TOOL

You've really got to drive both IMO and whatever suits your preffered style will shine through.
I've only owned a stage 1 r32 GTR, loved it but they are quite hard cars to hussle along on back roads. They act very RWD (mainly because they are unless traction is lost) and in the wet can be a bit strange. The hicas thing seemed weird to me, uneven roads played havoc with mine and the back end would be a bit lively on undulations. Also I've had a weird rear wheel steering sensation in the wet on a long fast motorway bend (if you can call one that) where I was holding the car at a certain speed and the back end started to feel like it went. Just got a sort of stomach churning feeling and prayed it'd behave while easing off the throttle. I know there's a lot of talk about the 'hicas wobble' on the GTR forum, I wasn't impressed some of the time. Confidence soon goes when you experience something that wasn't due to an input by yourself.
I've currently got an evo 6 RSX (no ayc but some creature comforts) and I'm loving the drive. Very sharp (with a faster rack than the gsr's) and very responsive.
The thing about the evo is they do so many things well, they are very good at most things performance cars offer. ie handle like an Impreza (some say better) have an amazing top end performance (more the sort of car you'd think would run out of puff like a gtir or scoob) have great acceleration and are very reliable. They do seem to wrap together the best bits of the rest if you see what I mean.
I think the evo is the best all round performance car money can buy.
I also like the way an evo 6 will knock out over 350bhp with a power FC, uprated fuel pump and fpr, air filter and exhaust system. It also does this very reliably and you never feel like the car is weak.

Not liking this rwd lark, i thought being 4wd it would stick to the road
I'm pretty sure the GTR also remains mostly RWD in the bends (using various data brought in from G sensors, steering position etc) to elliminate understeer.
I was no way confident to drift my GTR but from memory loosing traction on a roundabout and then keeping the power in, straightening the wheel and then adding power would bring in front drive to pull you out of the slide.
I found mine quite scary in the wet when I got it, I presumed it'd handle like a bigger version of my Impreza, I was very wrong there.

They do handle well in the right hands though, but I'm not that good.
