POSSIBLE BIG PROBLEM WITH REBUILT COSSIE!!
right then guys......
when i was rebuilding the cossie, i got a genuine 2wd gasket set from GGR,and in the pack was a small 'O' ring, that fitted perfectly where the pick up pipe fits the oil pump.. had a discussion with the old man, i said it shouldn't go on, and he said it should!
NOW....
is this supposed to be fitted?? i'm not saying whether it is or isn't til i have some good answers, with reasons

on the 2wd oil pump there is a 'gasket' for the big bore inlet, bit like on the turbo drain, and yes there is a round 'o-ring' type thing for the spray feed out the pump, but it's not rubber, it's a kinda hard plastic and it's not a perfect donut in cross-section it's kinda shaped to a point..
does that make sense?
