Default help needed!!

Got home last night to find out my cossie is pissing water, after a bit of pooking around it looks as if its coming off the bit under the thermostat housing (it looks removeable and has a pulley on it). Can any one tell me what this part is, is it easy to fix and if its a garage job is there any quick fixes to enable me to drive it to the garage???

thanks in advance

that'll be your water pump then.

if its a 4wd one, replace the little rubber hose between the pump and thermostat housing at the same time

15mm spanner on the bolthead on the tensioner, then turn clockwise, while holding the tensioner down with one hand, remove belt with another

but i think you need to take it to a garage if you are doing anything more than changing a belt - i can see this ending in tears
