Default Black top zetec turbo compression issues?

i have bought some eagle steel rods for my zetec turbo project. i have been told that they are actually designed for a black top zetec......
i am about to purchase some c20let (calibre turbo pistons) as i know on a silver top connected to standard rods bring the compression down to 7.4(which is what i want.)

what i would like to know is if i decided to go down the BLACK top route, and used the eagle rods with the calibre pistons, what compression would this give me????????????or would i still need to use a de comp plate????

also Does anyone know what the difference is between the rods in the Blacktop compared to the silver top??????
i know im asking alot on this one but it will seriously help me out if someone could give me some pointers on the subject
